How platform displays multilingual content

Organisers can offer multilingual Playlists, Activities and issue Badges in several languages. If a Playlist, Activity or a Badges is available in more than one language, the platform will display content in a language preferred by users, in case they are logged in (view the Help article on How to select a default language [/help/using-the-platform/how-to-select-a-default-language] on a Personal account).

Language algorithm will detect a preferred language following this logic:

1) Information is taken from the device cookies (what language user is using at that moment);
2) Information is taken from the device cookies (what browser language is selected);
3) Language selected by a logged-in user based on their Personal settings on the platform;
4) Language prediction based on IP (Internet Protocol is a unique numerical label assigned to each device connected to the Internet);
5) When the platform can detect preferred user language and the content is available, then the preferred language will be prioritised. In all other cases, English language will be offered.
